Lipoma on thigh
Hi doctor. I have lipoma on the medial aspect of my tight thigh. Measuring about 4by 5 cms. No pain. FNAC revealed lipoma. Also I read that lipoma of thigh can convert into liposarcoma. Will it cause any problems if I don't get it removed by surgery? Is there any other way of reducing it?

hello there. I can understand your problem. lipoma is a very harmless thing. it can be easily removed by surgery and its a very small procedure. yes it is possible that it could turn into a liposarcoma but the chances are very rare. but would suggest you to get it removed ASAP and don't take any chance. regards
