Linid 600 or clavmox

Asked for Male, 33 Years

I got prescription for linid 600 and clavmox 625 twice a day. This is for a small infection with pus in a nail wound. Why we should take two anti biotics a t a time? Just trying to make an idea only following medicines as per doctor advise....Any doctors advise will be helpful as patient can understand why I having a tab

There are different kind of organisms like gram positive and gram negative and aerobic and anaerobic. To cover all organisms usually multiple antibiotics are given.To be precise culture and sensitivity of pus could be done.
