I'm sorry to hear about your burn injury. It's great that there’s no irritation or pain anymore, but I understand the desire to get the marks to fade. Burn marks can sometimes take time to heal fully, but there are a few home remedies and ointments that might help lighten the marks and promote healing.
Next Steps
Use any of these following (if you feel Irritation on surrounding skin, stop using it) 1. Apply fresh aloe vera gel directly to the burn marks twice a day. ( speeding up the healing process) 2. Apply honey directly to the affected area and leave it for 20-30 minutes before rinsing it off. Do this daily. (natural moisturizer with antibacterial properties) 3. Apply coconut oil to the burn marks twice a day (rich in vitamin E) 4. Mix turmeric with a little water to form a paste and apply it on the burn marks. Leave it on for about 20 minutes before rinsing it off.(anti-inflammatory properties) 5. over the counter ointment like Mederma Scar Gel
Health Tips
1. Avoid Sun Exposure (sun can darken scars, making them more noticeable) or Apply sunscreen daily 2. Be Patience: Scar healing takes time, and while these remedies can help, complete removal of the mark might take several months.
