Lidogab gel for tinnitus

Asked for Male, 56 Years

Is it ok to put Lidogab ( lidocaine and gabapentin) gel inside ear. My father is suffering from tinnitus and Menier's disease. Unable to get any relief from any medication. Pls suggest.

Its not advisable The treatment options are vestibular sedatives/ diuretics ; in severe cases intratympanic gentamicin ( toxic to inner ear which causes the symptoms of meniere’s) or surgery may be needed.
