1 - there are chances of recurrence of vitiligo even after any vitiligo procedure. It depends on your disease stability. That's why all the procedures for vitiligo are done when the disease is stable at least for 1 yr(i.e the white patches are not increasing in size and you are not getting new ones ). This is to minimise the chances of recurrence.
2- laser or surgery depends on where you have got the patches, your affordability and your compliance with it. Consult a dermatologist who will be able to explain all of their benefits and side effects in detail
