Leucocyte count 14590

Asked for Female, 27 Years

Hi, My wife has recently got the CBP done and the leucocyte count shows 14590, the local doctor suggested that some injections(Taxim.. or something like that) need to be given for a period of 5-7 days. We would need another opinion to confirm this, is this something critical or can be medicated?

Hello total count more than 12000 sugests of infections if not treated with appropriate antibiotics the infection increases and it will lead to septicaemia it's bettr to take the medication prescribed by your doctor consult physician for further evaluation and treatment.
