Legs swelling my age (55y)
Hi my name ram i am using telma h ,ecospirn 75, atorvastatin 40mg daily for past 3years. bcoz 3years back in my head some blood clot. but now i face problem in my legs they are swelling ,but i walk daily and i dont smoke or drink. i had problem past 7years back i am parlized my left leg but now ok. So plz can u tell me why it happaning.

Hello Mr. Ram. As per the things told by you, I feel that you might be having incompetence of the venous valves in your leg. Venous Doppler of the legs may help to confirm this. Also, sometimes renal involvement may be there which may be diagnosed by Renal function test (blood test).
Looking from Ayurved point of view, this may be Avrutta Vaata. This may be either due to Kapha dosha or Pitta dosha or Aam dosha. This can be confirmed by knowing the diet and lifestyle in detail. Thank you.
