My mother feel pain while walking. Kindly suggest what is the treatment for this to correct.any medication ,exercise etc.

She is having osteoarthritis both knee left more that right having varus more in left then right. We need to do xray both knee AP and lateral standing then examine her. And then have to deciede between hto, ukr or tkr.
