My mother is having symptoms of foul smell and bad taste in mouth. The CT scan is advised. The CT scan report says "An ill heterogeneously enhancing thick walled collection is seen completely obliterating the left maxillary sinus with mucosal thickening along the anterior left ethmoidal cells. Erosion of the postereolateral margin of left maxillary sinus is noted with mild erosion of the adjacent upper alveolar process.
The history of the patient is that she has operated 3.5 years back for the sam
e issue.
Please suggest what could be the root cause for this and what will be the line of treatment. Can it be a malignant.
