Left hand side pain
Hi, My friend is getting pain on left side from past some days. The pain is on left hand starting from shoulder till fingers but in external part. Middle of chest n on left side of back, near the bone area. Once the pain area is pressed he gets burps & than the pain is less... He even feel uneasy wen the pain starts.. He works in a call center. He has night shift, timings are 7:30 pm to 5:30am with sat & sun off.. on daily basis he smokes 5-6 cigarettes &  drinks on weekend almost a quarter. Kindly help me, what this pain is all about... Stop smoking and alcohol..then should go for ECG ...left side pain may be due to cardiac issues.. kindly consult your nearest cardiologist.
