Based on your history, you are likely suffering from Alcohol Dependence Syndrome (ADS) with withdrawal symptoms (anxiety and insomnia when you stop drinking). Feeling tired, poor appetite, and low energy may also be due to long-term alcohol use, nutritional deficiencies, or liver-related problems.
Please do not stop alcohol suddenly on your own, as withdrawal can become serious and may cause seizures or delirium in some people.
Since you have been drinking daily for 17 years, treatment is strongly recommended rather than trying to quit without medical help.
