Hi, conditions like overactive bladder which cause frequency and urgency may require long term treatment with bladder relaxants. If bladder relaxants helped you before, they should work now as well and are usually safe to take long term. Please consult your doctor to restart medications. If you stopped due to side effects, you can change the medicines.
