Asked for Female, 19 Years

Sir, we had ( my gf and me) on 28 september 2016 and her periods date is 29-5 of every month but still she is unable to pursue menstrual flow (till 12 october 2016) and on consecutive pregnancy test it is showing negative result.an additional information is that she is taking medicine for epilepsy. so plz help in detail

Hi..... In a normal menstrual cycle, a balance between the hormones estrogen and progesterone regulates the buildup of the lining of the uterus (endometrium), which is shed during menstruation. If a hormone imbalance occurs, mentrual irregularities occurs.. Periods can be delayed for a single cycle or it can be delayed in every cycle. If the delay is in only a single cycle, the most likely cause is a temporary cause like stress.... Consult Gynecologist.....
