My friend want to go for Laser treatment for her eye sight defect (age :25). She has Thyroid and PCOD problems since 2014. she is using Thyrogear (25mg). Is that necessary to discuss with Ophthalmologist regarding these complications.........???

Hi there...The effectiveness of the surgery in people with malnutrition and systemic illiness are not satisfactory. However precise might be a the surgery done to a person, improper postoperative management will cause infection...discussion with opthalmologist is necessary before surgery.

Hello....... Prilimnary test will be done by doctor for physical fitness for surgery.. Her vitals should be stable and normal, only after physical fitness doctor schedule surgery, it's absolute necessary to disclose all medical history to ophthalmologist.
