Large lump on tonsil

Asked for Female, 18 Years

I’ve noticed a growth on my tonsil. Ive had it quite some time but lately it seems quite large. It’s like a circular lump with a protuding stalk like head and is red in colour. It doesn’t hurt but I’m quite worried as it is larger than my tonsil right now..

Any swelling over the tonsil needs to be evaluated in detail by clinical examination sometimes biopsy of the lesion may be necessary. It may be a benign lesion but biopsy may be necessary to confirm
