Laproscopic hernia surgery complication?

I'll have erection sometimes while straining passing stools. This would go away in few seconds. I had right inguinal hernia laparoscopic surgery 6 weeks ago. Before that, I never had this problem. And this problem started soon after surgery. Is this really a problem? Do I need treatment?
