Lactation consult
My baby is 4 months old. When he was 2 months old, he used to crave for milk every half an hour. I was told by elders that baby is not satisfied you need to supplement. So I started formula milk. Slowly he started showing disinterested towards breastfeeding. Now breastmilk supply is very less. I don't even feel full breasts due to milk. Please suggest what should i do to increase milk supply.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. The problem is that you listened to the elders who were absolutely wrong. Till the age of 6 months, nothing is required for the baby apart from the mother's milk. Not even water. Consult a pediatrician in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
