Lack of mental stability or consistency
I am working in IT field. Working from home, limited social interaction. I do not share deep, close relationships with people. I find interactions of any kind exhausting. My mood swings are very frequent. I am not able to focus on any task and everything feels boring. Cannot even watch a full movie these days. But on my good periods, I am very confident and perform impressively in anything. But this is becoming very rare nowadays. Constant anxiety, worry about future, inability to enjoy anything deeply. Even things that were fun are tiring mentally now. I am not able to sit through anything relaxed. Even meditation for 2 mins seems very hard. What should I do to improve and become a relaxed, happy person?

Hi You are working from home and there is limited social interaction. You find interacting with people exhausting. Based on what you have mentioned it seems like you are not interested in activities you once enjoyed. It seems like you are feeling anxious and depressed. You are worried about the future and you are not able to enjoy anything deeply. To feel better consult a psychologist and talk about what you are going through. With the help of a psychologist you can gradually work on becoming relaxed and happy. Based on what you have mentioned I suggest you consult a psychiatrist and psychologist. Depression appears to be one of the components of your present condition. Anxiety, lack of interest etc. also seem to be present in it. Since your apparent state of depression is lingering on, I would suggest you to manage the present condition with some medication if being suggested by a psychiatrist. Once you start feeling better, you need to consult a psychologist to learn efficient ways to handle your day to day problems, work, routine, lifestyle etc. which will reduce your stress. You need to be communicative on which too the psychologist will guide you. You also need to get involved in activities beyond your work from home. Many people in your type of work environment take up some convenient hobbies. Before doing all these, please get your general physical health assessed by your family physician. At times physician health issues tend to affect mental wellness.
Next Steps
Consult a psychiatrist and manage your current condition. Then approach a psychologist. But begin by consulting your family physician to address general health issues, if there are any.

Hi... You need to regulate your routine in terms of proper and timely meals, sleep, exercise and breathing/meditation. Our body and mind is not designed to sit at home and work all day. It requires bare amounts of physical activity, social interaction, healthy and nutritious meal, and minimum 6-7 hrs of sleep at night. If you are not getting it there will be various mental and physical repercussions. Also, you need a safe place to share your thoughts and emotions. A therapeutic setting is designed to provide such a safe and supportive environment where one can vent out their deepest fears, desires, guilt, shame, ambitions, regrets, etc. A therapist does not judge you based on social parameters and is trained to guide you through your struggles with minimal external influence. Try to find a good therapist with whom you can share your concerns openly.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. CBT along with Lifestyle Changes and Interpersonal Guidance and Counselling is required.
