I am 72 kg wt & Ht. 163 cms. From last 3 / 4 years little bit knee and lower back pain started Done blood test 4 times for RA positive but its negative Mostly pain is due to age and till date not so much Under such a condition will cycling ( Normal or exercise cycle@ home) good for knee?

Hello, There are three different types of arthritis that can occur in your knees. The most common type is osteoarthritis, a progressive disease that slowly wears away joint cartilage. This type of arthritis is most likely to strike after middle age. Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory disease that can strike at any age. Since negative for rheumatoid arthritis don't worry, osteoarthritis is treated by painkillers, calcium and vit d supplementation and physiotherapy, avoid cycling for now,, please consult orthopedician for prescription of these tablets and. physiotherapist for pain relief.
