Knee drainage to ankle? Lymphatic drain?
5 years ago - nearly complete femoral head break, complete femoral break (plate), & dislocated knee with reconstruction (ex fix), all left leg. One year ago, left ankle and foot show significant swelling w/o injury. The swelling stops at socks or shoes. Visited orthopedic surgeon, was told that knee fluid was draining into the ankle and to let it go until uncomfortable. PT and Chiropractor say lymphatic drainage. PT treats for 4 months with short-term, success. Problem persists, regardless.
