My 3.5 years old son often complaining about stomach pain. Every month or two months once all of the sudden he cries due to stomach pain during nights ... He won't take food at that time . If we force feed he will end up in vomitting. Then we will take him to doctor he will suggest albendozole and other medicines like cefixime , novogermina, cyclopam, ondem... Eventually he will get better and the next month someday he will start telling abt stomach pain.. we took scan also and everything looks normal . But I'm much worried as this is occurring often.

Dear sir thank you for your query
Recurrent abdominal pain is common in children
If your son is active and gaining weight adequately you need not worry
My suggestions
1. If he has constipation take care of it —this is an important reason for abdominal pain in children
2. Give him lots of veggies and fruits
3. Avoid buying or eating at hotels
4. Avoid fried foods especially chips and snacks
5. Consult a gastroenterologist if his symptoms persists or becomes worse
