Doctor confirmed me I have Keratoconus in my left eye and suggested me to c3-r
Please help me to comfort,
1) c3-r is safe and no side effect?
2) best hospital/doctor for quality and financially helpful for c3-r( I don't have any insurance)
3) what would be the cost
4) post surgery when shall i start the work(computer)? I shall work with right eye?
5) -5 cyl is critical?
6) doctor told me that I need to take 10 days off my work
7) dos and donts post surgery

A. C3R is quite safe ...no procedure is 100% safe but you can go ahead with this procedure
B. It is basically machine based procedure...consult local cornea specialist
C. Cost may be around 25k for one eye
D..you can continue work with other eye .... affected eye may take time to recover..you will need contact lens
E..yes , -5 cylinder is critical
F..10 days break is needed for recovery
G. Avoid dust and water exposure, avoid rubbing eyes, keep using medicine as prescribed

How much is the vision with glasses and how much it has progressed in last 5 years..becoz at this age further progress is unlikely.and if vision is very much deranged or it has fastly progressed in last few years or there is major problem due to anisometrppia. Then the c3r is urgently needed.
If you are enjoying 6/6 vision with glasses and the number is stable for last few years then theŕ is no urgency.
