Keeping Baby after taking MTP kit @ 12wk
Sir; my wife took MTP kit at 12weeks but it did'nt got aborted evven after blleding for 7-10days... now its 15weeks and in sonography its live and did not aborted. Now concerned about deformity and malformation . And doctors are not willing to abort in second trimester.

Dear Practo user,
It is less likely to have malformation following MTP kit. The latter should not have been taken without Doctor's advice.
Get Obstetric scan done now. Major anomalies can be detected. If normal, detailed anomaly scan to be done after one month.
