Is is that joint pains cannot be cured totally after a age of 50+ by medicines as most of the doctors say it is because of age.

Arthritis resulting because of age is called Primary osteoarthritis.  majority of the patients can be managed well by medicines, wt control, exercise, activity modification. But yes when all these things fail to control the symptom joint replacement is the answer.
