Jaundice? Viral infection?
RBC count: 3.82 million/cmm. Range 12 - 16
MCV: 100.3 fL. Range 80-96
MCHC: 31.6%. Range 32-36
ESR: 42 mm/hr. Range 0-20
Remarks: predominantly normocytic normochromic with macrocytes and ovalocytes.
Vit B12: 157 pg/ml. Range 211-911
Vit D: 7.51 ng/ml. Range 30-100
SGPT SGOT was high, doc diagnosed as jaundice. Treated for it and now it's normal.
7 injections of vitamin B12 is taken plus weekly sachets for vit D. However weakness still persists.
Doc says could be viral infection. Thoughts?
