Itching problem
Hi Doctor i am having intense itching around butt lining with some eczema type mark . Can you please tell me it's treatment ?

Peri anal itching with eczema can be due to lot of conditions like fungal infections,worm infestations,contact dermatitis etc

Intense itching around the perianal area can be due to worm infestation if you haven't been dewormed for the past 6 months or a fungal infection or a contact dermatitis because of wearing new underwear or any fissure/fistula/haemorrhoids

kindly clean the area with soap and water and apply a zinc oxide paste (10%) or a diaper rash cream if there are no open wounds and avoid wearing any tight or new or unwashed underwear.If you haven't been dewormed in the past 6 months kindly take Tab.Albendazole 400 mg once in the night and then again once in the night after 2 weeks.

Intense itching around the buttock with eczema-like marks may be due to irritant dermatitis, fungal infection, eczema or scabies; the exact rash pattern matters.
Keep the area dry and avoid fragranced soaps, scratching and steroid-combination creams without an examination.
I would need to see the rash and ask about night-time itching or similar symptoms in family members before choosing treatment.
