Itching occurring after finger surgery.
I had Mallet Finger surgery about a month ago and had a pin placed internally to hold the end of my finger straight to heal. Over the past few days the top side of my finger has been itching between my middle and distal knuckles (the pin is beneath this) The appearance of the finger has not changed other than occasional redness but the itching is new. I'm curious if it may be infected of if this is normal.
