Is there any stop smoking medicine

Asked for Female, 46 Years

My husband is a chain smoker. He is 50 years of age now. This habit started since he was 23 years of age. Can someone suggest some medicines that can be given to him so that he stops smoking? Will there be any reaction with those medicines? How should one consume them? He himself wants to quit, so I am asking this question.
