Is surgery necessary for gallbladder?
Just 4 days ago, i had my 2nd ultrasound in the gallbladder. Its diagnosis is Cholelithiasis and Chronic Cholecystitis. My Gastroenterologist Doctor recommended me to undergo an abdominal surgery. Is it necessary to remove the gallbladder with my diagnosis? Why can't i have a medicine that will melt the gallstones inside my gallbladder? What could be the right options? Taking the surgery or not?

You. Should undergo a surgery at earliest. Gall bladder Stones has various chemical composition. All cannot be dissolved with medicines. Unlike western world, the Indians typically have bile pigment stones, on which medicines don’t act. Pls listen to you treating doctor and under a surgery. Chronic Cholecystitis means u have inflamed gall bladder since a long time. Definitely indication for surgery to avoid future complications.
