It depends on many factors. For open surgery retrocecal is a bit difficult one but for laproscopic it doesnt matter. I need to know more details so that i can tell u if its serious issue or not. Share ur report

Yes. It is an emergency condition. If if the pain is not present right now, it can recurr anytime severely and would require immediate surgery. So better to go for elective surgery when you know it is appendicitis.
