Is lithotripsy required?
By ultrasound it was detected that I have 9mm stone in my lower ureter. My doctor recommended me to undergo lithotripsy but it is very costly so I am bit apprehensive. Suggest me if it is required or not.

Stones that are 7 mm and larger are unlikely to pass spontaneously and require some type of surgical procedure...you can consult nearest urologist for second opinion and discuss in detail about your issues Regards
