Is it really PTSD?
I have problems mentally and physically so today, went to the mental clinic for the first time, thinking it was probably anxiety. But, the psychiatrist concluded I still have PTSD from when I was sexually harassed by my teacher when I was 11. However, I feel like I have completely moved on from this incident. It doesn't even feel like a real memory anymore. It does not scare me or bother me at all. Is it possible to have PTSD even when I'm not consciously effected by the traumatic incident?
