7-8 months ago, I smoked sassafras rootbark out of a bong; it was a very dumb mistake that I made due to peer pressure. I did not smoke much. I didn’t feel anything, no pain in the throat/lungs or anything like that. Later, I learned that sassafras contains safrole, a potential carcinogen. I haven’t had any symptoms or anything like that, but I worry about having some kind of cancer (particularly lung) a lot everyday. Should I see someone about this or am I ok? (I do have GAD, so I worry a lot)
