Is it okay to take Gemcal in Gall stone? Can taking Gemcal or calcium supplement worsen or be harmful in Gall stone? Please clarify. Hoping an early reply.

As per medical reports there is evidence of calcium supplements increasing the biliary calcium concentration and hence promoting gall stones, however most gall stones are cholesterol stones. Take calcium with caution and after consulting a physician
