Is hicet AX safe in first trimester
Hi,
My ENT Doctor has prescribed me Tablet Hicet AX once a day for 5-7days to treat cough and cold. Is it safe to use in 11weeks of gestation?

Tab hicet ax contains cetrizine with ambroxol. Any medication should be avoided as far as possible in first 12 weeks. If medication has to be given chlorpheniramine,would be better choice over cetrizine. However cetrizine may be used. Ambroxol is safe.
