Hello..... The Silicon gel,/sheets are usually applied on a scar at its maturation phase... I. e., before it completely matures.... In simple if the scar is around more than 6-8 months old, then hardly ull see any effect with the Silicon.. Multiple types of treatment will again add on to worsening of the condition.. If the scar can be excised and covered then get it done if it bothers so much and not responding to any of the conservative methods..
