Is Concor5mg causing ED?
I am 42 years old unmarried man. I am obese 107kg weight and 5 feet 6 inch height. I take medicine for GERD Nexpro L and Nexpro 20mg, for Asthma Montek AB and Formoflo inhaler, Asthalin 200mg rotohaler, High BP, High heart beat on walking upto 175bpm, and Cetrizen for urticaria. Taking Inzofresh 10mg for sleep. I have severe ED for the past 8 months. I am having Concor 5mg from October 19, given by cardiologist. I have done Echocardiogram in July 19 by a Cardiologist. Report is fine. I have done Endoscopy in January 19 by a Gastroenterologist report is fine. My HDL is low at 35, master health check up done in December 19. Am I having heart blockage? Why ED problem? I don't do any excercise or walking. I am doing online business from home. My acid reflux is causing throat irritation, phelm feeling, chest discomfort chest muscles pulling sensation, pricking pain in chest, stomach burning sensation. Is there any need for another endoscopy? Is there any need for Angiography or CT Angio? I

Your weight is the problem.Pls do something to reduce your weight.Concor can cause ED . Some cardiologist can replace it I think Angiography is not required as of now.

Hello, Concor is a beta blocker and can cause ED. Your symptoms are not typical of cardiac illness but you do have risk factors like obesity, sedentary lifestyle and high bp. Your ED can be treated by stopping concor and replacing it with other medicine and regular exercise and weight reduction. If you want to rule out heart blockage, no need to do angiography. Just do ECG , Echo and TMT. Take care
