Is Budamate 400 a steroid
It has been 1 month since my mother (age 56) has recovered from Covid. She has mild cough and congestion in nose due to sinus. She has been recommended Budamate 400 mg with Lupihaler. I read on the internet that Budamate 400 is a combination of two medicines: Formoterol and Budesonide. Budesonide is a steroid. I want to know how safe is it to use this inhaler twice daily for 7 days, specially during this time when we are told to minimise the use of steroids and antibiotics.

It is an inhaled steroid. Very minimal absorption into the body. Will not have any serious side effects. Can be safely used. It is the steroid tablets and injections which if taken for a very long time can cause seide effects... U can safely use this.
