Irritated Ear Piercing
I've gotten my ear pierced fairly recently (around 8 weeks ago) and it has become swollen, red, and formed crust around the back of the earring. I am not entirely sure if it is infected or not, but I was curious if removing, cleaning, and replacing it with a new earring immediately after cleaning it would help or harm my ear. Thank you!

It is infected and inflamed! Consult your pharmacist for an antibiotic/antiinflammatory cream for local application .
