Hi, IBS can be managed by General Medications such as steroids, antidiarrhoeal, anticholinergic and pain medications depending on your symptoms. People who suffer ibs can also have lot of anticipatory anxiety such as worries about going to toilet frequently especially when they are out of home. Worried about any accidental incontinence, worry about bad smell etc . If ur anxiety is overwhelming then you may benefit from anti anxiety medications and CBT.
