Irregular periods since last 2 ,3 months

Asked for Female, 40 Years

I have been having irregular periods ,sometimes it occurs before 4 to 5 days or sometimes after 8 to 10 days . In the current month my date was 4th April but I had my period on 28th march with few drops of bleeding for two days and nothing happened after that but again from 8th April I am having slight bleeding . Since last two days I am having more bleeding , kindly suggest

Hi there...it may occur in women who have anemia i.e low haemoglobin levels,diabetes or thyroid problems. It is also common in women with high levels of a protein called prolactin in their blood...it can be the side effects of certain drugs like oral contraceptives,antipsychotics,antiepileptics...it may be due to poly cystic ovarian disease as well... So I would suggest you to consult nearest gynecologists for detailed clinical examination and evaluation they will do the needful.
