Hello Doctor, My wife usually gets periods between 45-50 days. We are planning to have a baby. What could be the implications. Please suggest.

In a normal menstrual cycle, a balance between the hormones estrogen and progesterone regulates the buildup of the lining of the uterus (endometrium), which is shed during menstruation. If a hormone imbalance occurs, then menstruation becomes irregular.
