Irregular periods for last 4 months

Asked for Female, 32 Years

I am a 32 year old girl...my periods have become irregular for last 3 months...in the first month, it got delayed by a week, then for other 2 months the delay was for more than 2 weeks. I want to mention that I am sexually active (for last 4 months). I have already done the pregnancy test which is negative. Want to know the reason for delay.

It could be due to pcos or hormonal Imbalance go for USG pelvis and hormonal blood test

It would be good if you visit a gynaecologist, you should do serum TSH , Prolactin and USG pelvis to rule out any ovarian cyst. Altered TSH and Prolactin can lead to irregular periods.
