Irregular periods for an adolescent
My 14 yr old daughter has an irregular period and after 4 days of proper flow, she still has spotting and mild discharge for 40 days now. The gynaec suggested using femilon for 21 days. Is it ok to use an ocp for young girls? Will it lead to any side effects like weight gain or other medical issues? Kindly advise.
