Menses happen due to shedding of the lining of the uterus. There is a complex cyclic pattern where in the controlling hormones are released by the brain. You may or may not have experienced it but emotions and stress play a major role in release of these controlling hormones. Events like exams, happy or sad occsassions, etc can cause menses to become irregular. After marriage the women come to stay in in laws house and there the atmosphere is different that what was in their parents house. Plus they have to perform role of a housewife where additional burden crop up. hence there is an emotional turmoil relating to the new situation and husband and sex. All this can cause menses to be irregular.
Next Steps
While a missed period is common in many conditions, the commonest cause is pregnancy and every newly wed wants to know about it. But menses fail to come on time due to hormonal and emotional stress issues and hence you are seeing your negative pregnancy report
Health Tips
Pregnancy must happen when you want it. Speak about it to your husband. If you both decide you can visit a gynecologist to know how to schedule sex to have pregnancy. During a cycle from one menses to another, the ovulation , if it happens happens only on one day. The ovum or egg which is released also has a life of only a day, so if a person misses this day then the chance of pregnancy is lost, even if they have kept sexual relationship for other 29 days
