Hi there...there are many reasons for irregular periods. Is this the first time such a thing has happened? And are you sexually active? If yes then do a urine pregnancy test. Kits are available at any medical store. Many others causes like stress, anaemia, pcod, fibromas, drugs can also cause irregular menstrual cycles. So kindly consult a gynaecologist for further evaluation.
