Iron Tablets at 16 weeks pregnancy
Hello,
I've been prescribed Feronia Xt for Iron, but since it caused me a lot of stomach pain and discomfort, doctor changed the tablet to livogen z, after which I ended up with vomiting and headache.
What are the precautions to be taken when consuming iron tablets to minimise the side effects like nausea, headache, and stomach pain?

You should start with a lesser dose and slowly build up the dose over 7-10 days. Take it with meals or after meals.
Don't take spicy and fried foods. Eat simple meals. You can take iron tablets after taking lime juice.
