IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis)
Scan shows phlegm in nose, throat. I have been diagnosed with ILD and IPF ( idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis - Stage I). Doctor has suggested Acetylcysteine 600 mg effervescent tablet for IPF. Kindly opine on this line of treatment.

NAC is good for Ild. There are also few other drugs also which u can consult a chest physician.
