Intermenstrual spotting is any kind of vaginal bleeding which occurs between the periods.
It can be caused due to multiple reasons like hormonal imbalance, underlying infection, any abnormal growth in uterus or cervix or change in medication.
Depending upon the cause treatment is decided.
