One of the main reason for relpase of disease is non compliance with treatment, to put it in simpler terms failure to take medicine. And most of the relpases start with sleep disturbances like insomnia. In your case this might be happening.
Next Steps
Start treatment ASAP. Consult a psychiatrist if you continue to have insomnia or if you start to have bipolar disorder symptoms either depressive symptoms or manic symptoms.
